5th at 9pm Committee Meeting at The Lamb - Congratulations to Kelle Nixey our new Chairperson, thanks again to Jeanette for all your hard work in the interim to Kelle taking up her post and keep up the good work as Vice Chairperson. January '04 Lorraine Long resigned as Chairperson, she took up the post in September after being Vice Chair for some time before this. The resignation is due to too many other commitments at present to give it her "all". Lorraine has been involved in the festival for 10 years starting out doing a stall selling salt dough models! Well done for all of your hard work so far Lorraine. Lorraine will continue to work for the festival but taking a well earned rest from the major organizational tasks. A BIG thank you to Jeanette Batchellier our Vice President for being appointed new Chairperson. Fundraising - a fundraising meeting was held, we will be holding various events, dates to be confirmed, we will keep you all posted. December 2003 A "Bond" Auction, held at The Lamb - the lots were mainly James Bond 007 related including a set of 20 special edition Swatch watches and we raised over £455. Many thanks to all who donated lots and bought lots! Our stall at the St Nick's Fair at the Village Hall in Chalgrove raised £37.65 with a spot the ball competition and through selling tasty home made truffles.
